Welcome to the Collision Repair & Refinish Training program. To ensure a safe, productive, and professional experience for everyone, please review the following key policies and requirements carefully before your arrival.

Course Policies & Procedures

  • Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule, you must notify us at least 5 business days prior to your scheduled start date. This allows us to offer your spot to another student. Failure to provide 5 business days' notice will result in being billed for the full payment of the class.

    "No-Show" Definition: A "no-show" is a student who fails to attend their scheduled course without prior notification. The sponsoring dealer/employer will be billed the full course fee for all missed classes. Exceptions to this policy will be reviewed on an individual basis.

  • For your safety and to maintain a professional environment, a strict dress code is enforced. Students who do not adhere to this code will be turned away.

    Prohibited Attire (Entry will be denied):

    • Shorts of any kind

    • Open-toed shoes (sandals, flip-flops, etc.)

    • Sleeveless tops or revealing attire

    • Ripped, torn, or soiled clothing

    • Clothing with inappropriate or offensive graphics/text

    • Unsecured jewelry that could pose a safety hazard

    Required Attire:

    • Long pants (jeans or work pants are acceptable)

    • Professional shirts (T-shirt, tech/work uniforms)

    • Closed-toe footwear (steel-toe shoes/boots are required for lab activities)

  • Provided Equipment: All necessary, task-specific PPE will be provided for you (e.g., safety glasses, face shields, welding helmets, gloves, paint suits, respiratory protection). Please note that this equipment may have been used by other students.

    Personal Equipment: You may bring your own OSHA-approved PPE if you prefer.

    Required Footwear: Shop/Lab appropriate footwear with a safety toe is required for all body and paint lab activities.

  • Completion of online coursework is a prerequisite for attending this instructor-led class. Before your class date, you must complete and pass all corresponding online training modules and tests. Courses are available on the official training websites:

    EACH STUDENT MUST HAVE AN INDIVIDUAL TIS USER/EMAIL ID AND PASSWORD.

    Please obtain your ID and confirm that you can successfully log in at https://techinfo.toyota.com/ prior to attending the training.

    Note: SPIN is NOT the TIS user/email ID.

  • Class Start Time: Class begins promptly at 8:30 AM. Please allow extra travel time on the first day to locate the training center and get settled.

    Late Arrival Policy: A 30-minute grace period is permitted on the first day. Any student arriving more than 30 minutes after the designated start time will be asked to reschedule. They will receive no credit for the attempted attendance and will be billed for the full course fee.

    Exceptions: Late arrivals due to documented emergencies (family, medical, flight cancellations, road closures) will be reviewed on an individual basis.

    Early Departure: Departing early may result in an "Incomplete" status for the course. Please plan your travel arrangements accordingly.

  • It is highly recommended that you purchase refundable airline tickets and make flexible travel arrangements. While we strive to hold all scheduled classes, a course may be canceled up to 10 days before its start date due to unforeseen circumstances, disruptive weather, or low enrollment.

Parking
Guest parking or WP2 parking garage.

Students with an active and correct email address in Dealer Daily, will receive a gate code for the parking garage each morning before class. Garage codes change daily. If no code is received, press the call button for security at the gate to be let in.

Please do not park in any space with a green line and/or numbered stalls.
